ਇਹ ਕੋਰਸ ਇਸਲਾਮ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਫ਼ੀਵਾਦ ਦਾ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਏਸ਼ੀਆ, ਖ਼ਾਸ ਤੌਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ, ਦੇ ਸੰਦਰਭ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਧਿਐਨ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸਲਾਮ 712 ਈਸਵੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁਹੰਮਦ-ਬਿਨ-ਕਾਸਿਮ ਦੇ ਹਮਲੇ ਨਾਲ਼ ਆਇਆ। 1021 ਈਸਵੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹਿਮੂਦ ਗ਼ਜ਼ਨਵੀ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਲਾਹੌਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਬਣਾ ਲਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸਲਾਮ ਦੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਹੋਈ। 1186 ਈਸਵੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁਹੰਮਦ ਗ਼ੌਰੀ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਰਾਜ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸਲਾਮ ਪੱਕੇ ਪੈਰੀਂ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।ਇਸਲਾਮੀ ਸੱਤਾ…
